About Christopher King

Christopher King’s commitment to the pursuit of success dates back to his days at Springfield, Missouri’s Kickapoo High School. In addition to participating in both Model United Nations and History Bowl, he placed third in the nation as a competitive chess player and second in the nation in Lincoln Douglas Debate. After graduating with a 4.0 grade point average, Christopher King remained in the area to earn a bachelor of science in economics from Southwest Missouri State University.

After college, he began selling cars and trucks at Carter’s Aurora Chrysler. He rapidly expanded into automotive sales management and went into business for himself roughly six years later as the owner of The Auto Store.

For the past six years, Mr. King has owned and operated Queen City Motors, one of the largest pre-owned vehicle dealerships in the Springfield area. He also established and oversees the independent automotive repair and maintenance shop Queen City Motors Service.
